At Daydreams Nursery we believe that children are active learners, we have created a vibrant and stimulating environment that will encourage your children to develop and reach their full potential.
Children's Rooms
Daydreams is organised into small, age-specific rooms to ensure children are placed in environments that best meet their developmental needs. Each room is carefully designed to support children at their stage of development, from babies through to pre-school, offering appropriate resources, activities, and experiences.
This structure allows children to develop at their own pace in a secure and supportive setting before moving on to more challenging environments when they are ready. Transitions between rooms are carefully planned and supported by key staff to ensure children feel confident and settled during each change.
Our youngest babies start in the Snowdrop room, and as they grow and develop, they progress through our rooms: Sunflower, Bluebell, Daisy, and finally Poppy room, which prepares children for their transition to school.

Outdoor play areas
At Daydreams, we believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences. We see our outdoor play area as an extension of the learning opportunities provided within the nursery. Children enjoy exploring outdoors, and our safe and secure outdoor environment gives them a wealth of opportunities to investigate and connect with the natural world while developing their learning.
We also take children out into the local community, with visits including the library, the park, and a local care home. These experiences help to broaden their understanding of the world around them and support their social and emotional development.
